This Police Week!

National Police Week occurs each year during the week in which May 15 falls. It was established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962 to recognize the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement. National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others. National Police Week is a collaborative effort of many organizations dedicated to honoring America's law enforcement community.

After the many difficulties and the extra challenges our LVMPD Officers have faced particularly over this past year, we’d like to remind them this Police Week how loved and appreciated they are by so many in our community. During this week the hearts, thoughts and spirits of Law Enforcement Officers are with those in DC remembering and honoring their fallen brothers and sisters in blue who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice.

Thank you for your consideration and support of our Law Enforcement Officers. We appreciate you more than you know!
